Photography Basics: Learning the Camera

Do you love taking pictures but find that they just aren't coming out like you remember the scene looking?

Want to get more creative and learn how to get out of "Auto Mode"? Come join us for Understanding Exposure.

In this class we will be learning how to take creative control over your images and how to create more compelling and engaging compositions.

With the use of different shutter speeds and apertures we will learn how to create a picture that tells a more exciting story.

Lets stop letting the computer take the picture it thinks you want and start letting you create the beautiful images that you are envisioning.

Intro to Outdoor Photography

Do you love taking photos of people, nature or outdoor scenes but find that they just aren't coming out like you remember it looking? Want to learn how to create more compelling and engaging pictures?

Join us for Intro to Outdoor Photography.

In this 4 hour hands on class you will learn how to take control of your camera settings, get out of Auto Mode, how to tell a story with your photo using shutter speed and aperture, and learn how to create more dramatic compositions.

We will have a great time getting hands on with how to take control of our camera and pictures and overcome whatever obstacles stand in the way of getting "The Shot".

Fall Foliage Shoot

Saturday Oct 13th 6:00-9:00am


Location: Stewart/Person Preserve. Sylvia Place Rd, Kingston, MA 

Come join me for a morning of photographing the BEST part of living in New England. We will go on a walkabout to explore for the best Fall Foliage compositions. In this class I will give instructions on

- The best settings to use for different photographs

- Composition

- Exposure tips

- Lens filters that help make your foliage POP ... and much more.

We will have a great time walking around through the "Golden Hours" of the day expanding our photographic eye and enjoying the gift of New Englands Fall season.

Boston Skyline Night Photography

Saturday October 13th 5:30-9:30pm 


Come visit a few of my favorite locations to shoot the beautiful Boston Skyline.

You will learn just how much fun it is too shoot streetlights, cityscapes, and how to use the moody overhead lighting and architecture to create beautiful, dynamic, and interesting pictures. We will walk to a few different locations. A tripod is highly recommended (I have extra if you need one)

Intermediate - Advances Level Class: Should have a basic knowledge of the exposure triangle, how to use camera in settings like Aperture and shutter speed priority and should how to change ISO. 

1 on 1 Classes (available upon request)

Lets customize your learning session. Wth a 1 on 1 class we can focus on whatever aspect of your photography you want to improve in whatever location you choose.

- $80 - 2 Hr Session.

- $30 for each additional hour (in the same session)

- Lightroom Editing Started Package - $400

    10 hours

     - Hands on in your home on your computer

     - includes editing on my photos for specific editing techniques and using your photos

     - learn how to Import, organize, sort, edit, use detail tools, export, and find your photos
