Arcos de la Frontera and Rhonda

Jess and I leave Granada and head west. We drive through a series of whitewashed towns built into the rocky mountain sides until we reach our destination of Arcos de la Frontera.

Navigating the tiny streets was nerve wracking and at points we had to pull the side mirrors in just to make it through archways.

It was fun watching people (when I wasn't the driver) try to navigate the 3 point turns they had to do just to take a left onto the next street.

We walk around the town a bit and explore the local surroundings. The apartment we were staying in was of course at the very top of the town so it was always a downhill walk to get anywhere and an uphill walk to get back (so much fun after a couple of glasses of vino and a caña or 2 )
It was nice to sit out on the sidewalk and have a delicious dinner while watching the town socialize. Dinner is always more exciting when you can reach out and touch the cars as they drive by.

The next day we head towards Rhonda. An ancient town with an amazing bridge that connects the "old town" and the "new town". The whole reason we came to Rhonda was so that I could photograph this bridge.
As a landscape photographer you are at the mercy of the elements and this day it had been raining pretty steady so I wasn't sure how good my chances were going to be.
